When and how will my accessories arrive?

• AquaterraSpas.com accessories and parts are all shipped via FedEx Home Delivery within the 48 continental US. Orders will be processed and shipped typically within 10 business days of purchase. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. 

 

What does Plug-N-Play mean?

• Plug-N-Play (110v) can be plugged into a standard 110v outlet with no additional wiring required. 230v spas require a licensed electrician for installation.

  There are a few differences to consider. 230v spas heat faster on initial fill, and you can run the jets and heater on high at the same time during your soak. Plug-N-Play spas offer the same jet strength as a single dual-speed pump 230v spa; however, you can only run the jets or heat on high at the same time during your soak.

  Note: All 110v Plug-N-Play spas can be upgraded to 230v post-purchase.

 

What is the benefit of converting the spa to 230v? What is required?

• Although most spa owners find 110v adequate for heating, 230v spas are slightly more efficient and heat faster. A licensed electrician can perform the conversion from 110v to 230v. NOTE: An optional GFCI sub-panel is required for conversion.

 

What comes with the spa?

How does the FROG @ease Sanitizing System work?

• Keep your hot tub water clean, clear, and perfectly balanced with less effort using the FROG @ease Sanitizing System.
  

• This self-regulating system uses SmartChlor® technology and mineral cartridges to maintain ideal water levels automatically. Both pre-filled cartridges fit easily into your filter basket and release the right amount of sanitizer over time, no measuring, no guesswork.

• Just set the dial, insert the cartridges, and you’re ready to relax. The result is Fresh Mineral Water that feels cleaner, clearer, and softer every time you soak.

 

What does an Ozone Generator (Ozonator) do?

• Your hot tub’s Ozonator helps keep your water cleaner with less effort.
  It works automatically in the background to break down impurities and support your regular water care routine. While ozone improves water clarity and reduces contaminants, it isn’t a stand-alone sanitizer. You’ll still need to use a spa sanitizer and follow your normal maintenance steps.

• For the best results, we recommend pairing it with the FROG @ease Sanitizing System for cleaner, clearer, and softer water. Think of the ozone system as a helpful boost that makes ongoing water care easier, so you can spend more time relaxing and enjoying every soak.

 

How do the FROG @ease Sanitizing System and the Ozonator work together for my spa water?

• Enjoy cleaner, clearer, and softer water with the combined power of the FROG @ease Sanitizing System and the Ozone Generator.

• These two systems work hand in hand to make the hot tub water care easier and your soaks more enjoyable. The Ozone Generator helps neutralize contaminants like lotions, detergents, and other impurities, improving water clarity - though you'll still need a sanitizer for complete protection.

• That’s where the FROG @ease Sanitizing System comes in. Its SmartChlor® technology and mineral cartridges gradually release the right amount of sanitizer and minerals to keep your water balanced with less effort. Just set the dial, insert the pre-filled cartridges into your filter basket, and relax.

• Together, the Ozonator helps purify the water while the FROG @ease system maintains the ideal balance and sanitization, giving you sparkling, comfortable water that’s gentle on your skin and ready whenever you are.

 

How do I care for my hot tub cover?

• To clean your cover, rinse it thoroughly with a garden hose to remove dirt and debris. Wash the surface with warm water and a mild soap using a soft cloth or brush, then rinse well and allow it to air-dry completely.

• For the underside, rinse with water only (no soap) and wipe it clean with a dry cloth.

• Material care tips:
  •    Polyester covers: Rinse thoroughly before drying to prevent any soap film from forming on the fabric.
  •    Vinyl covers: Avoid silicone-based cleaners, which can dry out the vinyl and cause cracking.

• Important: Always remove your cover before adding spa chemicals. Trapped gases from sanitizers can damage the protective lining and may void your warranty.

 

What will be the operating cost of the spa?

• Actual operating costs will vary depending on the model chosen, usage, and local electricity costs. However, on average, Aquaterra spas cost between $20-$50 per month to operate.

 

Can the spa be delivered to the backyard or deck?

• No. The spa is only delivered to the curbside in front of the driveway. Generally, two people can move the spa to the desired location using a furniture dolly. What type of foundation is required for the spa?

• The spa requires support of at least 80 lbs. per square foot, whether it is on a deck or on the ground. If installed on the ground, the foundation can be a concrete slab 4 inches thick or even pavers. However, if using pavers, the ground must be compressed first before laying down pavers.

 

What cover lifter is best for my hot tub’s shape?

• If your hot tub is square, use Cover Lifter - Low Mount (PN: 303210).

• If your hot tub is round or triangular, use the Cover RX cover lifter (PN: 303360).

 

What is the return policy for items purchased at AquaterraSpas.com?

• If you purchased a part or accessory from AquaterraSpas.com and wish to return it, fill out the return form here.  If your item has not shipped yet, call our customer care team at 888-961-7727 or email ownersupport@watkinsmfg.com to cancel your order. All parts and accessory returns must be requested within 60 days from the time of purchase. All returns are subject to a restocking fee. 

• For Replacement Cover & Panel Purchases: All sales are final. We do not accept returns for these products. All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Lifesmart Spas is not responsible for any errors in measurements or make/model ordering. We strongly recommend double-checking the make/model and dimensions of your spa before making a purchase. If you need help with this process, call 888-961-7727. If there are any issues with your delivery, including refusal of delivery, and the item is returned to us, the customer will be responsible for a $300 shipping fee.
